Our Story
Born from lived experience.
When you think of a home — whether it be an apartment, a trailer, maybe even a little hut — you just think of comfort and security. The vision we have for Jus Like Moms is to provide just that feeling of being secure, along with sharing many other resources and life lessons.
Everyone deserves to have a comfortable, safe place to lay their head, their burdens, to reset, recharge, prepare food — all the things we know that humans need to do to have at least some sort of peace of mind. Whether it includes a war room, a man cave, or a children's play room — it is your space to have.
Once being a tenant at a boarding house myself, an occupant at a shelter, and a guest at a hotel for longer than just a vacation — I am now able to understand the meaning of a home, and I appreciate it deeply. That personal journey is what drives everything we do.
More Than a Roof. A Launchpad.
We know this won't be their permanent home — but the goal for this transitional house is to make it feel as at home and as helpful as possible, even if only for 6 months to a year. We will not only provide a home for a decent price, but an environment for residents to actually elevate until it is time to move on to the next part of their journey.
